I'm so lucky that home is on a wonderful farm in the Sussex countryside, so my surroundings are my main inspirations.
Foraging has always been one of my favourite pastimes and i am very grateful that i get to intertwine this with normality. I am intrigued by flowers and forna, forever seeking adventures and new paths to explore. The forest floor is a cornucopia of fresh and dried materials just waiting to be incorporated into a project.
I created my brand with limited knowledge of sustainability and how something classes as 'eco', i still have a lot to learn but hope i am just that little closer to making a difference with my non-toxic planet friendly methods.
I use small amounts of aluminium acetate and soy milk in my mordanting processes and all dye waste is composted back in to the ground for next seasons harvest.
I am fortunate to have space to allow me to grow my own flowers in my small dye garden keeping it as close to home as possible. Reducing air miles is important to me so i try to use British small businesses as suppliers to keep relationships as local as possible.
I hope my creations bring you a sense of adventure and encourage you to create alchemy, using whatever is at your fingertips!
